While local knowledge is undoubtedly a great

asset I am not prepared to say it is essential in case

of Attorney General here. At the same time I would be

prepared to support AlabNtter for post and he may be

considered to have some claim in that he has acted on

several occasions and was of great assistance to the

government in general revision of ordinance as published

in 1913.
